Lower School Athletics

Wyoming Seminary Lower School's athletic program is designed to help children set and achieve goals, leading to increased self-confidence and healthy habits on and off the field.

We offer a variety of sports throughout the school year. Our girls field hockey and co-ed soccer and cross country teams compete in the fall; boys and girls basketball in the winter; and boys and girls lacrosse in the spring.

Virtually all Lower School athletic contests are hosted in Northeastern Pennsylvania, including the use of our own facilities for home sporting events.

The coaches of our teams include Wyoming Seminary faculty and staff members, as well as active members of the local community, many of them having ties to Sem.Skill development is a critical element of the Wyoming Seminary Lower School athletic experience, as is teamwork and personal growth.

Through the guidance of coaches who are not only experts in their respective sports but also passionate mentors committed to developing athletes on and off the field, student-athletes can refine their skills, learn advanced strategies and foster a lifelong love for sports.
